Low taper fade with full rounded curls
Full curls make a rounded outline with natural separation and soft frizz. The low taper leaves that side volume in place, keeping the contrast close to the temples and nape.
What to ask your barber
I would like a low taper at the temples and nape, retaining the fuller hair above it. Keep the rounded curls and the fullness through the upper sides. Before cutting, let’s agree whether the shortest edges show skin or visible hair, and choose a finish I can maintain at home.

- Apply a curl cream, foam or gel to damp hair according to the product directions; choose softness or firmer hold to suit your routine.
- Arrange the fringe and encourage curl groups with your fingers instead of brushing out the curl pattern.
