Mid taper with a diagonal fringe
A dense straight crop swept sharply diagonally across forehead into an asymmetric point, flattened crown and thick triangular front fringe. Compare the front, both side references and rear view to discuss the outline with your barber.
What to ask your barber
I would like a mid taper at the temples and nape, retaining the fuller hair above it. Keep the asymmetric diagonal fringe and flatter crown. Before cutting, let’s agree whether the shortest edges show skin or visible hair, and choose a finish I can maintain at home.
Build a fuller barber brief ↗How to style this look
- Set the fringe or top in the direction shown while the hair is damp.
- Dry gently, then work a small amount of light paste or cream through the retained length if useful.
- Adjust the dry shape with your fingers and keep product off the very short edges.
